| 1:N Protection Switches |
Cross offers a number of 'intelligent' 1:N Protection Switches with integrated back-up controllers. These new switches, available in 1:2 and 1:4 configurations, support IF to L-, S-, C-, and Ku-band converters where agile configuration data is required to be continuously monitored, backed-up, and pre-loaded into the protection converter before switching occurs.
Various models are available to support Cross' 2015 series Upconverters, 2016 series Downconverters, and 2017 series Up/Downconverters. |

C-BAND
Cross model 2017-64 IF to C-band Up/Downconverters address lower cost, smaller footprint requirements in the C-band market. 70MHz to 5.85-6.425 MHz (Up) and 3.625-4.2 MHz to 70MHz (Down) with 125kHz steps is the standard configuration.
L-BAND to S-BAND
Cross model 2017-35 (and 2017-36) offer agile, 1MHz step conversion from L- to S-band (and S- to L-band, respectively) via an intermediate 70MHz translation. |
